Grolsch Highline Expedicion- part II.: Lost Arrow Spire

Seeing another curve on the stone trail, I really wanted to shoot myself in the head. Over three hours of hard approach with backpacks full of metal gear and ropes has been destroying for every one of us. When we reached Yosemite Upper Falls, the sun was setting down. So we decided to rig the line the day after. Everyone saw hundreds of photos from this particular highline. Janek had an opportunity to walk it in 2007. Lost Arrow Spire Classic Line. The Holy Grail among highlines. Like Jimi Hendrix among guitarists, like Marylin Monroe among actresses and like El Capitan among rocks - Lost Arrow Spire is mythical. No photos and no words can fully describe the magic of this line.
Janek and Damian place camalots on the flake-side and climb the Spire to rig the line (with help from me and Brian). The whole action takes some time - you cannot rig this line without special climbing skills. Fortunately, the rigging goes smooth and soon after noon the line is ready to walk.It's hard to describe the feelings when you're on the line, and you definietly cannot describe the feeling of walking the Lost Arrow Spire line. The exposure is massive and although the line is relatively short, it is very hard to walk it. But after all, everything goes quite smoothly. 'Yeeeeaaah!"
The whole Valley could hear this shout 12 times that day. 6 people had fullmaned the biggest legend of highlining. I took the first walk and after defeating the fear I send the line. Next quick fullmans go to Brian, Jordan, Daemon, Faith and Janek. Faith sends the line OnSight, which is the first female onsight of that line. Janek sends the line in his # swami-belt (first Polish send of it in swami). Guys unrig the line, we all come back to the camp site at the top and then hike down to the legendary Camp 4, to make it before the forecasted storm. The action was 100% successful - in one day we managed to rig the Spire line, 6 people sent it and the we unrigged it.
We don't know if the weather will allow us to send everyline that we plan, but next aims are: long Lost Arrow Spire Line and Yosemite Falls highline.
