After our first week in Joshua Tree National Park I can definitely say that it was an excellent choice to go.
In opposition to Indian Creek the sky over souther California remains clear for most of the time. There are a lot of already bolted places for highlines and finally we've got an opportunity to commit our time and energy also to our second passion – climbing.
And J Tree is a great place to do so. Whole desert is just full of boulders with various problems.
Unfortunately the rock is really sharp and treats our skin with no mercy. That's the reason why we have to stop ourselves a little bit and we're climbing not so intensely as we would wish to.Anyway – our shape is getting better and almost every single day we're sending harder and harder problems.



And when comes time for letting our skin and muscles recover – we do what we do best. We're highlining. As far our crew have sent three lines.
Short (7.5 meters), but beautiful 'Chongo Gap' for warm-up and later two other lines. Both in Cave Corridor, 18 and 27 meters long.
But this all is just a preparation for our main goal in J Tree.



A legendary 'Big Boy' Highline – 65 meters long (only 1.5 meters shorter than current world record ) beast with no confirmed send!
Besides that line, we will have to face two others demanding highlines – EBGB and Astrodomes, both 39m long. Looks like beggining of 2010 is going to be full of work for us!



Besides Jordan, who has left to Chicago for Christmas, we've all spent those special days far away from our homes.
In this place, we would like to wish many unforgettable moments in upcoming year 2010 to our families and friends ( Sorry that's too late for saying 'Merry Christmas!' ).
We want to thank everyone who has supported our amazing adventure, even in tiny part.
We are extremely grateful. And please forgive us, that sometimes we seem to forgot about the whole world and just follow our passion.
